Covesion is proud to unveil the newest addition to our growing portfolio of engineered non-linear photonic components: MgO:PPLN crystals with fan-out gratings. The fan-out structure enables the phase matching to be tuned by translating the crystal across the optical aperture while the crystal temperature remains fixed.

Our fan-out grating MgO:PPLN crystals are particularly well suited for:

• Difference frequency generation (DFG): Flexible phase matching across a wide tuning range makes these crystals ideal for DFG systems targeting mid-IR outputs.
