Martín Taccone, Head of System Sales, Europe at Hawthorn Photonics, will be representing the group at the upcoming EPIC Technology Meeting on Photonics for Quantum Technologies at Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI) in Berlin from the 16th to the 17th June.

The meeting comes at an exciting time for the quantum industry. As research breakthroughs continue to mature into commercial technologies, the focus is increasingly shifting towards system integration, manufacturing readiness and the development of scalable supply chains capable of supporting widespread adoption.

Photonics remains at the heart of this evolution. From quantum communications and networking to sensing and information processing, many of the most promising quantum platforms rely on advanced optical components and non-linear optical technologies to achieve the precision and performance required.

At AdvR, we understand the importance of these enabling technologies and the role they play in supporting the next generation of quantum systems. Collaboration between researchers, manufacturers and technology providers is essential if the industry is to overcome the challenges associated with scaling quantum technologies beyond the laboratory.

The EPIC Technology Meeting provides an important forum for these conversations, bringing together experts from across Europe and beyond to share insights, identify opportunities and build partnerships that will help shape the future of the quantum industry.

We look forward to engaging with attendees and contributing to discussions around the photonic technologies that are helping turn quantum potential into commercial reality.
