AdvR’s facility is well equipped with suitable computer hardware and software to conduct theoretical investigations and computer assisted design analysis. A chemistry lab includes ovens, fume hoods, polishing stations, semi-automated dicing saw and other equipment involved in processing nonlinear optical crystals. A separate room with Class 100 clean tent is equipped for device assembly.
Three optics laboratories are equipped for evaluating experimental set-ups and characterizing both optical structures, modules, and lasers. These labs include eight optical tables, optics, mounts, beam profiler, optical spectrum analyzer, wavelength meters, and numerous cw laser systems. Additionally, AdvR has an electronics shop and machine shop for fabricating or modifying specialized components.
